About the community
Meet Flourish
Flourish is a community gathering in Hendersonville, North Carolina, where everyone is welcome—people of all beliefs, backgrounds, and walks of life. At the heart of Flourish is a deep love for Jesus, a love that teaches us to welcome, serve, and care for others with the same compassion he showed. Flourish celebrates diversity in all forms, welcoming people of every age, race, identity, orientation, and ability, and is affirming of LGBTQIA+ people.
Flourish seeks to become a Spirit-led, justice-centered community of faith where all people—especially those who have been excluded—can come as they are. Its ministries include Healing Church Hurt, Maria’s Closet, Trans-Action 4 Families, and feeding neighbors who are temporarily unhoused.
